Do the paternal aunts of the deceased have the right to claim a sum of money related to his work leaves, despite their signing of a formal and registered relinquishment agreement concerning the inheritance? If the two paternal aunts waived their right to inheritance through a relinquishment contract (takhāruj) in exchange for something, but were unaware of the amount, they can claim their right to it. Some jurists are of the opinion that funds unknown at the time of the settlement are not included in it. If the two aunts have a right to the amount, they should receive their legal share after the shares of the wife and the two daughters have been distributed.
