What should a man do who is married to a Ukrainian woman who converted to Islam but does not pray?

Marriage is a decreed destiny, but one should choose a religious, chaste wife.

The questioner must teach this girl matters of religion, urge her to pray, and explain to her that abandoning prayer is disbelief (kufr).

If she responds positively, then praise be to Allah. Otherwise, he should follow the stages of addressing disobedience (nushuz) with her: admonition, then abandonment in bed, then light, non-injurious beating.

If these methods are ineffective, and she does not pray, then separation from her is better, because the harm of staying with her is greater than the harm of separation.
