Will the repentance of one who uploads music videos to YouTube, which have been seen by many, be accepted if he stops publishing them but still listens to music alone? And will the repentance of a liar be accepted if he stops lying frequently but still lies a little?

A Muslim must offer immediate and sincere repentance for all sins. Repentance for one sin is valid even while persisting in another. So, if someone repents from uploading prohibited materials, their repentance is valid, but they bear the sin of listening to them. As for lying, it is a single sin from which repentance is not valid unless one abandons both its frequent and infrequent forms. Among the conditions for accepted repentance are: abandoning the sin, resolving not to return to it, and regretting having committed it. If a person repents from all forms of lying and then returns to it, their previous repentance is valid, and they must repent again.
