Is it obligatory to slaughter the compensatory offering during Hajj season or is it permissible at any time?

The type of error committed during Hajj should be mentioned. If the fatwa (definition) is issued by a reliable authority, and the hady (sacrifice) is due to omitting an obligation or committing a prohibition that does not invalidate Hajj, then it is permissible to slaughter it at any time, and no specific time is required for it. The hady must be slaughtered within the حرم (sacred precinct) and distributed to its poor. It is sufficient to authorize someone to purchase, slaughter, and distribute it there, or to pay its cost to reliable entities to distribute it to the poor of the حرم.
