What is the ruling on the money obtained by a lawyer for acquitting two individuals accused of drug possession, given the clarity and certainty of this accusation?

The profession of law is forbidden if its aim is to protect evil and defend its perpetrators, as this falls under the category of cooperating in sin and aggression. Therefore, the lawyer who defended drug dealers must repent to Allah, advise them, and withdraw from the sinful litigation. As for the money he took from them, it is forbidden and must be disposed of by spending it on charitable causes, and it is not permissible to return it to them.
