Does abandoning enjoining good and forbidding evil prevent an individual's prayer from being answered, and will my prayer be in vain and not stored for me in the Hereafter?

Shyness is not an excuse to abandon enjoining good and forbidding evil if it becomes obligatory, and overcoming it is possible with Allah’s help. The texts of warning regarding prohibitions clarify the unlawfulness of the action, but do not necessarily mean that the warning will befall every perpetrator, as it may be averted due to the presence of impediments such as repentance, seeking forgiveness, and effacing good deeds. The Hadith indicating that the non-responsiveness of supplication might be due to abandoning enjoining good and forbidding evil does not mean that all supplications of the person who commits sins are rejected. The purpose of these texts is to warn against committing unlawful acts, not to prevent sinners from supplicating.
