Contemporary scholars have differed regarding the recognition of copyright and intellectual property rights. However, the we adhere to is their absolute recognition. Therefore, it is impermissible to download materials from pirated websites, whether for commercial purposes or otherwise. Nevertheless, some scholars have permitted students of knowledge, who find it difficult to obtain original copies, to copy them for personal use and benefit, although abstaining from this is more cautious.
