How is the inheritance divided among two sons and two daughters?

If the deceased leaves no heirs other than those mentioned, then the inheritance is for them by way of ta'sib (residuary heirship), with the male receiving the share of two females. It is divided into six shares: two shares for each son and one share for each daughter. The matter of inheritances must be referred to the Sharia courts for investigation, as there might be another heir, or bequests, or debts that take precedence over the rights of the heirs.
