May Allah reward you for your diligence in preserving yourself. We alert you that your residency in a land of disbelief is a trial for your religion and a corruption of morals. You must return to your country or a Muslim country and resolve your problem with your husband by returning to your country and trying to find him, reminding him of your rights and his duties. If he is not found, the matter should be brought to the judiciary. If no trace of him is found, or if his name was forged, he is to be treated as a missing person. You must then observe the waiting period that the wife of a missing person observes before marrying another.
