Does impurity transfer to pure, wet clothes if they are placed in a spot where previously there were impure clothes?

If impure clothes are dry, their impurity does not transfer to the place they occupy. Therefore, if pure, wet clothes are placed in that same spot, they do not become impure. Any doubt regarding the transfer of impurity has no effect.
