What is Islam's view of individuals with criminal records? Do their status and value diminish due to their crimes? Does Islam prevent their integration into society and marriage?

Allah has opened the door of repentance to all people, and the one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin. Whoever was excessive against himself and then repented with a sincere repentance has moved from wickedness to righteousness, and he must be treated according to his new state. It is not permissible to reproach him for his past sins or to accuse him of wickedness or backbite him. Whoever’s sincere repentance and uprightness are known becomes a righteous member of society, having the same rights and obligations as others, and his testimony is accepted.
