Is this considered an oath of divorce, and does it nullify the divorce agreement if the husband travels alone outside the country, given that he broke his promise to her?

A husband's statement to his wife, "Any wedding you attend, you are divorced," is considered a conditional divorce tied to her attending a wedding celebration. The majority of scholars hold that divorce occurs if the wife attends any wedding, whether the husband intended it as an oath or a conditional divorce, and this is the most preponderant opinion. However, Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah is of the view that an expiation for breaking an oath is due if the husband did not intend divorce, and this conditional divorce cannot be revoked by the majority of scholars, while Ibn Taymiyyah permits its revocation if the the husband intended divorce and not an oath. If the divorce occurs, the husband can reconcile with his wife before her waiting period ends, provided this divorce does not complete the three divorces. The divorce does not recur if the wife attends another wedding. The husband's travel alone or his failure to fulfill a promise to his wife does not affect this conditional divorce.
