Is it prescribed for the Imam to go early for Jumu'ah prayer, or should he come at the time of the sermon?

Going early to the mosque on Friday is one of the important etiquettes for the congregants. This is indicated by the Hadith of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), which explains the different levels of reward for those who go at various hours. As for the Imam, his Sunnah is to come after people have gathered and when it is time for the sermon, then he comes out and ascends the minbar. His Sunnah was not to go early. Ibn Al-Qayyim, Sheikh Zakariya Al-Ansari, and Ibn Uthaymeen have mentioned this.
