What is meant by "early arrival" for Jumu'ah prayer, and does attaining the reward mentioned in the Hadith require arriving an hour or two before the sermon, or is it sufficient to be present a short time before it? And is walking counted towards the reward mentioned in the Hadith if the starting point is a car parked far from the mosque, or must one walk from home?

Expediting for Friday prayer means going to the mosque at the beginning of the day. Its time begins from sunrise or dawn. The virtue of expediting is achieved by arriving at the mosque before the Imam ascends the pulpit. The more one expedites, the greater the reward. The reward for walking to the Friday prayer is not attained by driving a car and then walking; rather, one must walk the entire distance from home to the mosque.
