Is it permissible for a Muslim to say to his Muslim brother: "I do not want from you any reward or thanks?"

There is no objection to a person saying to another, "I do this for the sake of Allah," for Allah the Almighty informed us about the righteous that they say: "We feed you only for the sake of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude."
