Is it permissible to work in a company that sells shoes, women's clothing, and cosmetics, specifically in the cosmetics warehouse?

The default rule is that it is permissible to work in the sale or manufacture of cosmetics. However, if the prevalent situation in those lands is that these cosmetics are used for immodest display and uncovering, then we advise against working in such fields. Whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better. If a Muslim cannot find a purely permissible job other than this to earn his livelihood, then there is no harm in working in it, while simultaneously searching for a job that does not directly involve forbidden acts or assist in them.
