What do you say regarding a wife who accuses her husband of oppressing her, neglecting her rights, and causing her illnesses, and she also accuses him of practicing sorcery and witchcraft to search for treasures and utilize jinn, which – according to her claim – led to her being afflicted with possession and epilepsy, knowing that the husband denies this, and her children do not believe he practices sorcery?

It is forbidden for the wife to insult her husband or accuse him falsely, and she must obey him in what is good. Accusing the husband of sorcery is based on delusion and is not permissible except after investigation and verification. It is forbidden for the husband to go to charlatans, soothsayers, and sorcerers for treatment or otherwise, because believing them is disbelief. He must adhere to lawful treatment from doctors, the Holy Quran, and Prophetic supplications.
