Is it permissible for a woman who wears the niqab to send a photo of her ID card and a personal photo when applying for a job at a university in the UAE, and does the ruling differ if the employer is working remotely from a non-Muslim country?

If a woman has sufficient means, it is preferable for her to remain in her home, in obedience to the command of Allah the Almighty: "And abide in your homes," and to avoid the problems of contemporary work environments. If she needs to work for financial support, she must adhere to the Sharia-compliant regulations for women's work. She is permitted to submit the required documents, including personal photos, out of necessity, while trying to suffice with the ID card photo if possible. If she is given a choice between working outside the home and working remotely, the latter is better to avoid going out and mixing, and to preserve her modesty.
