Is it forbidden or permissible for men to trim their eyebrows?

If the intent is to remove eyebrow hair by plucking, then this is namṣ (plucking), for which the Prophet (peace be upon him) cursed the one who does it. And if a man were to do it, it would be forbidden for him. If the removal is by trimming or shaving, it is like plucking, according to the preponderant opinion, unless the hair obstructs vision, in which case it is permissible to trim what obstructs it.
