The verses of hijab in the Qur'an are three: 1. {And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition. But the clothing of righteousness - that is best.} [Al-A'raf: 26]. - {And Allah has made for you from that which He has created shades and has made for you from the mountains shelters and has made for you garments which protect you from the heat and garments which protect you from your [enemy in] battle.} [An-Nahl: 81]. - {And your garments purify.} [Al-Muddaththir: 4]. - {And upon the father is their provision and their clothing according to what is reasonable.} [Al-Baqarah: 233]. - {And provide for them therefrom and clothe them.} [An-Nisa': 5]. - {Its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people from the average of that which you feed your [own] families or clothing them.} [Al-Ma'idah: 89]. - Those describing the garments of the people of Paradise, such as: - {They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and will wear green garments of fine silk and brocade.} [Al-Kahf: 31]. - {Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other.} [Ad-Dukhan: 53]. - {Upon them will be green garments of fine silk and brocade.} [Al-Insan: 21]. - Those describing the garments of the people of Hellfire, such as: - {Their garments will be of tar, and their faces will be covered by fire.} [Ibrahim: 50]. - {But those who disbelieved - cut out for them will be garments of fire.} [Al-Hajj: 19].
