What should I do about a man who stole from my shop and claims to be my partner in it?

Theft and claiming others' property are forbidden and considered major sins. The person whose property was stolen has the right to demand their due and raise the matter with the courts for justice, unless they forgive and pardon the thief. Forgiveness is closer to piety, and its reward is with Allah.
