What is the ruling on a wife refusing intercourse due to severe pain resulting from vaginal infections, with the husband's knowledge of this?

A wife must obey her husband if he calls her to bed, unless she has an excuse such as illness, menstruation, or an obligatory fast. If she is harmed by intercourse, she is not blameworthy for refusing, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There shall be no harm nor causing of harm." She should seek treatment from specialists, and the husband should consider his wife's condition and not request what harms her.
