ما هي الأماكن السبع المحرمة التي لا يجوز الصلاة فيها؟

The Prophetic hadith that prohibits prayer in seven places: the garbage dump, the slaughterhouse, the graveyard, the middle of the road, the bathroom, camel pens, and on the roof of the House of Allah, is weak. However, the prohibition of prayer in the graveyard and the bathroom has been established by authentic hadiths. Some of these places have further details: 1. The garbage dump: Prayer is prohibited therein due to the presence of impurities and because it is a filthy place that is not suitable for standing before Allah. 2. The slaughterhouse: It is prohibited due to contamination with impurities and filth. However, prayer is valid therein if the place is clean. 3. The graveyard: It is prohibited out of fear of it being used as a pretext for worshipping graves. The funeral prayer is an exception. Prayer in a mosque built over a grave is also prohibited. 4. The middle of the road: It is prohibited because it inconveniences people and distracts the worshipper. It may be disliked and potentially forbidden if it harms people or exposes the worshipper to danger. Situations of necessity or need are exceptions. 5. The bathroom: It is prohibited because devils inhabit it, and private parts are exposed therein. The prohibition includes every part of the bathroom. The toilet (place for relieving oneself) is even more strictly prohibited. 6. Camel pens: They are prohibited because they are a dwelling place for devils and because camels may disturb the worshipper. 7. On the roof of the House of Allah: It is prohibited because the worshipper does not face the entire Kaaba. However, some scholars have permitted it by analogy with praying inside it.

In addition, prayer in usurped land is prohibited by the consensus of scholars.
