Is it permissible for one of the congregants to lead the prayers if something happens to the Imam?
If something occurs to the Imam that prevents him from completing the prayer, it is permissible for him to appoint one of the congregants to complete the prayer with them. Otherwise, it is permissible for the congregants to put forward one of them to lead them in prayer, or to complete their prayers individually.
