Where is the justice in a child entering Paradise directly while others are held accountable?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

Allah the Almighty is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy and the Most Just of those who are just. He wrongs no one and punishes only after establishing proof. The children of Muslims are in Paradise by the consensus of the Sunnis. And it is among the fundamentals of faith not to object to Allah's decrees, for He is not questioned about what He does, while they will be questioned, due to His knowledge, wisdom, and justice.

As for the wisdom behind not holding children accountable, it is due to: 1. That the basis of accountability is puberty, and a child who dies before puberty is not accountable. 2. Children follow their parents in their innate disposition (fitra). If the parents are Muslims, then the child's entry into Paradise without accountability is consistent with that. 3. It contains honor, mercy, and comfort for the child's parents.
