The heirs do not have the right to refuse to accept the debt from the debtor unless they intend to absolve him and waive the debt. This right transfers to them after the death of the inheritor. Therefore, it is not permissible for them to carry out the deceased's will of not accepting the debt from the debtor if he brings it; because the deceased is not to be followed in everything he bequeathed, rather, that should be presented to the people of knowledge.
