Prayer is obligatory in every situation and is not waived for a Muslim as long as their mind is sound. Thus, it becomes obligatory when it is possible, except in a case of coercion, in which case it must be made up. It is advised to ignore intrusive thoughts () and consult doctors. If it is a case of jinn possession, one should continue to perform (self-exorcism) using the Quran and and established supplications, while adhering to the remembrance of Allah and supplicating to Him.
