Is atonement for a vow required once or multiple times after the repeated commission of the sin vowed to be abandoned?

This vow is a vow of obstinacy and anger. The one who made it has the choice between fulfilling it or atoning for it like an expiation for an oath. It is not permissible to break it, but if you do break it, you have the choice between fasting or the expiation for an oath. The expiation does not multiply with the multiplication of the act unless you said: "Every time I commit this sin, I must fast," or you intended that, in which case the expiation multiplies.
