The woman's guardians do not have the right to prevent her from returning to her husband, especially if she is still within her ' (waiting period), based on the verse: "And when you divorce women and they have fulfilled their term, do not prevent them." If her 'iddah has expired, she cannot return except with a new contract under the guardianship of her guardians. If they refuse, she should refer her case to the judge to have him marry her to the man.
