Is a woman entitled to seek divorce from her husband who takes from her money for his other household, stole from her, abandoned her, and traveled, knowing that he refuses to divorce her?

A woman is not permitted to seek a divorce without a legitimate Shar'i (Islamic legal) justification. The husband's transgression (fisq) and harm (idrar) towards his wife are considered valid justifications. However, it is not advisable to hasten in seeking a divorce. Patience with the husband in his current state might be better, and the husband might repent through sincere advice.
