What is the Shar'i ruling on dealing with a father who earns unlawful money and refuses advice, arguing that his family will not be held accountable for his sin, and how do we respond to his specious argument regarding "as you condemn, so shall you be condemned" by claiming it is an injustice to the family, and what are the appropriate books for the general public in this field?

Allah does not hold a servant accountable for the sin of another. Thus, the sin of unlawful gain falls solely upon the father. If all of the father's wealth is illicit, it is not permissible for the son to take anything from it except in cases of extreme necessity. Similarly, a person's involvement in an abomination does not necessitate that their family members also engage in it.
