The answer

The follower is obliged to recite Al-Fatiha in the silent prayer. In the audible prayer, he must listen attentively to the Imam's recitation. If he finds an opportunity to recite it during the Imam's pauses, it becomes obligatory for him; otherwise, it is waived for him, and his prayer is valid. The follower's recitation should be silent in both cases. The congregational prayer is not forfeited due to the aforementioned excuse, and the worshipper must rid himself of any whispers that hinder his recitation by seeking refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.
