Is it permissible for a father to prevent his daughters from education and divorce his wife because they do not adhere to the khimar, after a prior agreement to wear it?

A man is responsible for the upkeep of his wife and daughters in matters of this world and religion. It is his duty to discipline them and oblige them to wear the complete legal hijab, with the exception of the niqab, as it is a matter of scholarly disagreement. The father must address the issue of negligence in wearing the hijab with gentleness, forbearance, and calm dialogue, not through deprivation or divorce. He should explain to his daughters that his concern for this is an act of obedience to Allah and a fulfillment of his trust.
