How does a servant enter Paradise without torment or reckoning?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

So, whoever's scales are heavy [with good deeds] and whose good deeds outweigh their bad deeds, he has succeeded and prospered. No one will enter Paradise while owing an injustice to another; rather, purification is necessary before entering it. As for the disobedient monotheist whose bad deeds are more numerous than his good deeds, he is subject to the will of Allah; He may either forgive him or purify him by the Fire, and then admit him into Paradise. The disobedient will not abide eternally in the Fire. The believer should strive for good, avoid what distances him from Allah, follow the guidance of the Prophet (peace be upon him), ask Allah for sincerity, and balance hope with fear.
