The question

Is the landlord obligated to inspect tenants and ensure their compliance with conditions after the contract has been concluded, or is that not an obligation upon him? And is it permissible to rent these spaces to anyone who requests them without inquiring into their circumstances?

The answer

There is no objection to leasing spaces on the internet for storing electronic files, because this falls under the general meaning of Allah Almighty's saying: "Allah has permitted trade and forbidden usury" (Quran 2:275). It is good to stipulate that no files violating the religion of Islam and the methodology of Ahl al- wal-Jama'ah (Sunnis) should be placed. It is not permissible to inspect the files of the tenants, as this is considered espionage, unless there appears something indicative of suspicion without espionage. In that case, it is obligatory to stop that or terminate the contract.
