Is repeating words of disbelief after hearing them in a song considered disbelief, given the contradiction between Fatwa No. 183315 and Fatwa No. 229675?
We have previously warned against reprehensible poetry that includes forbidden elements, compromises creed, contradicts morals, promotes falsehood and evil, or slanders reputations. Reciting poetry that contains kufr (disbelief) is not in itself kufr, unless the reciter affirms what is heard, believes in it, or is pleased with it; because "one who transmits kufr is not a kafir (disbeliever)."
