What is the ruling on someone who takes a picture next to a human statue?

It is not permissible to take a picture next to it, or to photograph it and keep its picture, because that involves an affirmation of falsehood and contradicts the principle of changing and condemning evil. As for the ruling on taking photographs of humans or other things, there is no harm in it, especially if there is a need or benefit. If it is for other than that, it is better to avoid it to resolve the difference of opinion and to abandon that which contains doubt and suspicion.
