What is the ruling on working in a commercial bank in the credit department when there is no way to leave it, and what is the ruling on being forced to borrow with interest to provide more spacious housing?

Whoever feels God's wrath upon them must hasten to repent and return to obedience to God, abandon the forbidden, regret what has passed, and resolve not to return to it; for God rejoices in the repentance of His servants and transforms their evil deeds into good ones for those who repent, believe, and do righteous deeds.

Regarding borrowing with interest (riba), one must seek forgiveness and resolve not to return to it, for whoever fears God, He will make a way out for them and provide for them from where they do not expect.

Working in interest-based banks is not permissible except in cases of extreme necessity, such as someone who cannot find food for themselves and their family. They must leave it as soon as they find a permissible alternative. Allah Almighty says: "Say, 'Not equal are the evil and the good, although the abundance of evil might impress you.' So fear Allah, O you of understanding, that you may succeed."
