A PhD student in engineering should intend through their studies to acquire skill and experience to benefit themselves and their family through lawful work and earnings, and not to be a burden on others. They should also intend to benefit their Muslim brothers and their nation by acquiring what they need in this field with proficiency and trustworthiness, far from cheating and deception; for Muslims need honest and strong specialists in all aspects of life.
