The intention of divorce by which it takes effect is that which is issued by choice, without coercion, and with peace of mind. The divorce of one afflicted by obsessive thoughts does not take effect because it is a form of coercion. Therefore, turn away from these obsessive thoughts and from thinking about them, for certainty is not removed by doubt.
