It is prescribed for one whose house is before the to delay the until he reaches it, even though performing Ihram before the Miqat is valid. It is for one intending Ihram to cleanse oneself by removing hair such as pubic and underarm hair, trimming the mustache, and clipping the nails, in preparation for Ihram. However, once one begins the rites (of pilgrimage), it is not permissible to remove anything from one's hair or nails.
