Is it permissible to supplicate: "O Allah, cover us with Your veil with which You have veiled Yourself"?

This supplication, "O Allah, cover me with Your beautiful covering with which You covered Yourself, so no eye can see You," is a reprehensible enormity and an aggression against Allah, because the supplicant wishes to share with Allah what Allah has exclusively reserved for Himself in terms of covering.

This supplication was not reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Sheikh Abdullah ibn Jibreen, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "This supplication was not reported, his saying: 'with which You covered Yourself, so no one can see You': This is specific to Allah, which is that He is not seen in this world, and that He is beyond the lights, as in the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: (His veil is light; if He were to remove it, the splendors of His Face would incinerate everything His sight reaches of His creation). So, no one should associate with the Lord, Glorified be He, in this light or in this covering."

The prescribed supplication is: (O Allah, conceal my imperfections and calm my fears).
