What is the ruling on one who drank forgetfully during a Ramadan day, then abstained until the Maghrib call to prayer?

If you drank, not remembering your fast, then your fast is valid and you are not required to make up for it, according to the more preponderant opinion, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever eats or drinks forgetfully, let him complete his fast, for it is Allah who has fed him and given him drink." However, if you drank while remembering your fast, not forgetfully, then you are required to repent and make up for it.
