What is the ruling on the action of a grandfather who divided the inheritance among some of his children and deprived his daughter of it despite her need, and what is the solution to help the mother and sister overcome this psychological crisis?

If a grandfather divides his property during his lifetime, this is a gift (hiba) and not an inheritance (irth). He must be just in distributing it among his children, male and female, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Fear Allah and be just among your children." If he dies before being just, scholars have differed regarding the reversal of an unjust gift after his death. It is advisable to involve righteous people to remind the grandfather of Allah's limits, and to remind the mother to be patient, recalling her father's right and the reward of patience, and not to sever ties of kinship over worldly matters.
