Is it better to travel for 'Umrah or to donate its cost to the Mujahideen in the path of Allah after performing the obligatory Hajj and 'Umrah?

Traveling for ' and spending in the path of Allah are both good deeds. However, the benefit of 'Umrah is limited to the one performing it, whereas the benefit of spending in Jihad extends to others. Therefore, expending in the latter is more deserving and superior.
