Is it permissible to converse with atheists via chat and discuss creation and existence with them?

It is permissible to debate atheists and invite them to Allah, while observing good manners and gentleness, for Allah Almighty says: "Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best." It is a condition for whoever debates them that they possess firm knowledge to refute doubts, otherwise, it is obligatory to avoid debating them. It is preferable for a man to invite men and a woman to invite women, and the reverse is permissible with legitimate Islamic guidelines.
