Is praying for the abortion of a fetus due to the young age of the pregnant wife considered a sin or a severance of kinship ties?

Procuring an abortion is Islamically forbidden. Before the ensoulment, it is considered the destruction of progeny and corruption on earth. After the ensoulment, it is considered the killing of a soul without just cause. Praying for the expulsion of the fetus does not amount to the act of abortion itself, but it is a supplication for something forbidden, and it entails sin.
