The answer

The narration inquired about: "Indeed, for your Lord, in the days of your lifetime, there are breaths [of mercy], so expose yourselves to them, for perhaps one of them will afflict you, and you will never be miserable thereafter" is weak. Al-Suyuti and Al-Albani judged it to be weak.

The narration does not mention the month of Rajab. Rather, it encourages seizing virtuous days and blessed hours. Although it is weak, the evidence from Islamic law is abundant regarding hastening to good deeds and seizing opportunities.

As for the virtue of the month of Rajab, no authentic narration suitable for argumentation has been reported concerning it, except that it is one of the Sacred Months which we are commanded to venerate, and fasting therein is recommended.
