How is the inheritance distributed among: one daughter, a paternal half-brother, and a maternal half-brother?

If the heirs are limited to the daughter, the paternal half-brother, and the maternal half-brother, then the daughter receives one-half as a prescribed share. The remainder goes to the paternal half-brother by right of residuary inheritance (ta'sib). The maternal half-brother inherits nothing due to the presence of a lineal descendant heir. We draw attention to the necessity of submitting inheritance matters to the Sharia courts for investigation.
