What is the Islamic ruling regarding a brother working in a restaurant that serves alcohol, while he awaits the end of his current contract to obtain his certificate?

Serving alcohol is a forbidden act, and its perpetrator is threatened with curses, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah has cursed alcohol, its drinker, its server, its seller, its buyer, its presser, the one for whom it is pressed, its carrier, the one to whom it is carried, and the one who consumes its price." Waiting for the contract to end is not considered an excuse to continue in this forbidden work. The perpetrator must seek another job, for Allah provides a way out for whoever fears Him and sustains them from where they do not expect.
